Robert Charles Seavey
Robert Charles Seavey Piano, Organ, Accoustic guitar, Harmonica lead and back up vocals
My name is Robert Charles Seavey. I have lived in the New England area my whole life. My music career started out in the churches of the Boston area as a boy soprano performing solo’s in such historic places as the Old North Church, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Trinity and Park St. Church. My training was under the direction of John Moribito. I continued singing with school choruses, district choruses and as my voice changed I became a member of the well known, at the time anyway Greater Bostonians. I also in the later years of my soprano voice, had the privilege of singing under the direction of Sarah Caldwell, the long time director of the Boston Opera Company. It was in my late teens that to the horror of those who watched me through my classical training, that I embraced rock and roll. It was after many different bands and many changes that this wonderful thing called life throws at you, that I went back to my roots of singing solo with piano and guitar accompaniment performing at various restaurants and clubs throughout New England.
I am now with Fried Cactus. I play keyboards and rhythm guitar and add backup vocals and I am having a blast.
