Experience/Musical Career: Started playing drums on a single snare drum in 1971. Got first full set in 72. I spent 72-74 on Kwajelien, an island in the south pacific. Became a member of two bands during that time. One was a high school age rock band. The other was a working band playing country and current pop music. After returning stateside I played in a working band with local friends. The band was called Haley Town Road and we played clubs, parties and public venues for 6-7 years. My first experience with playing in a studio occurred with this band. Haley Town Road wrote and performed 20%-30% original material. When that band broke up I joined “Azlan”. This band was comprised of three brothers with extensive vocal experience, an experienced bass player and myself. Two of the three brothers wrote a large volume of original material. We recorded several original tracks during four or five studio sessions and played clubs and venues in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Azlan played together for about 7 years. I played off and on over the next few years then stopped playing all together up until the opportunity to play with Fried Cactus arose. They were looking for a drummer and I was ready to follow my passion again!
